I would like to welcome you and your child to the Second Grade. My name is Mrs. Anderson and I will be your child’s teacher in this most important spiritual and academic school year.

I would like to take this time to tell you a little about myself. I graduated from the University of Akron with a BS in Education. I specialized in K-3. I taught fourth grade for four years, at Huntsburg Elementary,  before taking a leave to stay home with my children. I have currently been teaching at St. Mary’s for eight years. 

I am married and live with my husband and three children in Concord Township.  My daughter, Meghan, is in Eighth Grade at St. Mary’s. Both of my sons graduated from St. Mary’s, and are attending Notre Dame Cathedral Latin. They keep me very busy with gymnastics, hockey, football and la crosse. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, kickboxing, and traveling.

I truly enjoy working with children and am sure that together, we will be successful in making this a very rewarding school year for your child.
