Mrs. Byrum attended St. Mary’s until second grade when she moved to the other side of Mentor. She then attended Fairfax, Memorial Junior High, and graduated from Mentor High School in the year 2000. After she graduated, she went to Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education with a specialization in Math and Science in 2003 and began to substitute teach in different Lake County Schools. In 2004 she started two new phases of her life, studying for her masters in Special Education at CSU and teaching at Saint Mary of the Assumption School. She loves St. Mary’s and teaching Science, Reading and Religion to her fourth and fifth graders. She loves to learn and loves watching her students learn and have fun!
