Biography:
I began my teaching career in Catholic schools. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree from St. John College in Administration as well as 18 additional credits beyond my master's. I have a permanent teaching certificate and an eight year principal's certificate. I joined St. Mary's family in 1984 when I began teaching Math and Science in the Jr. High. Since then I have also been the Assistant Principal (1986-1990 and 1994-2000) and Principal (from 1990-1994 and 2001 until the present). St. Mary's has become my "family". The
camaraderie amongst the teachers and involvement and support of the parents has made my job rewarding and enjoyable.
On a personal level, I am married but have no children (however, I have 500+ here!) I raise Bernese Mountain Dogs as a hobby and am involved in showing, breeding, and therapy work.
I feel blessed to be a part of the St. Mary Catholic Community. It is not only where I work but my Parish. If I may be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call the school office.
