Second Grade Weekly Update

Week of December 1 - 5

***    We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!

***   Spelling list 11 was sent home with the children on

Thursday, November 20. The test for list 11 will be

on December 5.

***   Room 9 children will be receiving their First Penance on

        Saturday. Please be prompt.

***   Please make sure your child studies their doubles, +1, +0,

        +2, +9, doubles +1 and facts with sums of 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,13

        and 14 every night.

***   Please make sure you send in a note if your child is to be

        dismissed other than their normal routine. We are not

        always able to check our email during the day due to our

        busy teaching schedules. If you do not send the note in the

        morning, please call the office with your change.

***   Please send in a “nutritious” snack for your child each day.

        Primary students do not buy snacks in the cafeteria. Please

        do not send in a drink for snack, since we are working on

        papers during the time we eat.

LOOKING AHEAD:

The Christmas concert will be December 17 at 7:00p.m. More info will follow. Please see Miss Kish’s letter regarding dress etc.
