Welcome to reading in room #2. I am Mariann Siegel this is my eighth year teaching a second grade language block here at St.        Mary’s School. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with your children.

   I am originally from the Saginaw area of Michigan. I met my husband at Alma College. We have lived in Ohio for fifteen years. I have taken graduate courses at Eastern Michigan, Sienna Heights College and currently at Lake Erie College.

    We have been blessed with three children of whom we are both extremely proud. Jillian is 24; she and her husband (Josh) were married at our parish July 2007. Jillian is an accountant for The Norwalk Speedway. Jillian and Josh are expecting their first child in February. I cannot wait to be Grandma!

    Alex is 21 and just returned to Bowling Green University as a senior business major. Our youngest daughter Marley just turned 11 and is entering 6^th grade. She loves tennis and horseback riding.
